The Comedy Cellar is proud to partner with, the FP Group, publishers of Foreign Policy Magazine for a special Election Night party, in which FP CEO & Editor David Rothkopf will be joined by a rotating panel of the country’s most prominent comedians, journalists, and special guests to announce the returns of the 2016 presidential and congressional elections. The program will feature active audience participation, live screens covering the election returns and social media commentary, stand up sets, pithy insights and, depending on the results, grief counseling or wild celebration.

Our panel of experts will include:

MC for this show: David Rothkopf David J. Rothkopf is CEO and editor of the FP Group, where he oversees all editorial, publishing, events, and FP Analytics services. David is the author of numerous internationally acclaimed books, including Power, Inc., Superclass, and Running the World. His most recent book, National Insecurity: American Leadership in an Age of Fear, was published in the fall of 2014. He writes a weekly column for foreignpolicy.com, and is a frequent contributor to leading newspapers and magazines, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Financial Times, CNN, Newsweek, Time, and many others. He is also the host of The Editor's Roundtable (The E.R.) podcast, a weekly program that triages the big issues of the day, and has appeared as a TED Talk speaker about how fear drives American politics.
Cameron Abadi Cameron Abadi is senior editor at Foreign Policy magazine. He previously worked at The New Republic and Foreign Affairs, and has covered presidential elections in Iran, Germany, and the United States. His writing has appeared in Bloomberg Businessweek, the New Yorker, The New Republic, and Der Spiegel.

Joanna Rothkopf Joanna Rothkopf is a staff writer at Jezebel.
